Ohio Geese Control: Best Workplace in Pest Control

2025 Best Places to Work in Pest Control We are jumping for joy to be one of the top places to work in the Pest Control Industry

Ohio Geese Control was recently named as one of the 2025 Best Places to Work in Pest Control. This prestigious recognition showcases our commitment to creating an exceptional workplace for our employees, which plays a crucial role in our overall success. This program was created by Pest Control Technology (PCT) and Best Companies Group. We came in 2nd place for companies over 75 employees, a testament to our dedicated team and their hard work! Achieving this recognition is not just an honor but a reflection of the collective efforts of everyone at Ohio Geese Control, and we couldn’t be prouder.

This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in pest control across North America. By participating in this program, we not only gained insights into our workplace culture but also highlighted the importance of employee satisfaction and engagement in the pest control industry. The recognition serves as a benchmark for other companies aiming to improve their workplace dynamics and employee retention strategies.

To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a pest management professional firm serving the structural pest control industry. This includes firms offering any mix of general pest control, termite control, mosquito control, fumigation, wildlife control and the like. This does not include industry suppliers, distributors, universities, food service operations, health departments, governments and others
  • Be a publicly or privately held business
  • Be based in the U.S. or Canada
  • Have a minimum of 10 full-time or part-time employees working in the U.S. or Canada
  • Must be in business a minimum of 1 year

Companies in pest control entered the two-part survey process to determine the 2025 Best Places to Work in Pest Control. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics, which provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s culture and operational effectiveness. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, focusing on aspects like job satisfaction, work-life balance, and opportunities for growth. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking, illustrating the critical role of employee feedback in shaping workplace culture. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings, ensuring a fair and thorough evaluation.
